Wilson Arms, Torver, Coniston.
This family
owned Country Inn and Restaurant boasts natural wooden
beams and an open log fire. Home cooking is the order
of the day with locally made sausage, fell reared
lamb and beef on the menu. Vegetarians and special
diets are catered for with advance notice. There is
a well appointed bar, lounge and beer garden to relax
in after your meal. Most of the bedrooms are en-suite
and all have their own TV and tea / coffee making

Gill Cottages, Torver, Coniston.
Two adjoining
luxury houses, appointed
to the highest standards,
each accommodating up to six people. Each house consists
of an entrance hall (with down stairs toilet), a comfortable
Lounge / dining room with sliding doors leading on
to a patio and large garden. There is a modern well
equipped kitchen. There are three bedrooms. One double
bedded with en-suite facilities, and two twin-bedded
rooms and bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided.
A gas fire is situated in the lounge with gas central
heating throughout. The splendid location is set amidst
the rolling hills surrounding Coniston Water providing
one of the most relaxing holiday locations to be found
